Icon of Mother of God "The Joy of All Mournful" or "Sorrowful" has very wide iconography, it exists in some dozen of iconographic compositions and shapes. It is first mentioned with miracles since 1688.

Here Blessed Mother of God, Virgin Mary acts as a medium between Her heavenly son and the sorrowful human, suffering, diseased, hungry, lonely and homeless.

Angels by side are passing blessings from Her, which is inscribed in scripts: "robes for naked, food for hungry, accompany to traveling, cure for diseased, joy for aged and All Joy for All Mournful thou are, our Lady".

I was lucky to have an 18 century old handmade panel for this icon.
